23rd Match of ICC ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 played between South Africa vs Bangladesh at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.

Opting to bat first, South Africa with superb batting performances managed to set very huge target of 383 runs for Bangladesh to get. Quinton de Kock with 140 balls 174 runs, Aiden Markram's 60 runs, Heinrich Klaasen's classsic and quick 49 balls 90 runs and David Miller's firing 15 balls unbeaten 34 runs were highlights of South African inning. Hasan Mahmud was expensive but tok 2 wickets of 67 runs in his 6 overs for Bangladesh.

Following very huge target of 383 ruuns, Bangladesh most batsmen failed to bat well and at one stage 6/81 in 22nd overs. Mahmudullah the only batsman played good inning of 111 runs but Bangladesh team all out scoring 233 runs and lost the match by huge margins of 149 runs. Gerald Coetzee with 3 wickets was top bowler for Africa. Q de Kock declared man of the match for his superb 174 runs.
