SS Tiwary and AT Rayudu both smashed fifties with good peace of batting. Tiwary made 52 runs and AT Rayudu contributed well 63 runs of 37 balls. Mumbai managed to put respactable total of 173 runs in 20 overs. TA Boult picked up 2 wickets for Kolkata.

Following target of 174 runs, Kolkata could not firing start as had in previous matches with SP Narine and CA Laynn today. SP Narine went early without scoring. CA Lynn played aggrassive inning of 26 runs of 14 balls before left the field. Skipper Gambhir failed today and got out scoring 21 runs. RV Uthappa also followed him for just 2 runs and Kolkata were in deep trouble in run chase. YK Pathan played cameo of 20 runs of 7 balls with three massive sixes before left the field. Kolkata were 92 /5 at half way of inning (10 overs). C de Grandhomme also played small but good quick inning of 29 runs in 16 balls for Kolkata as well. MK Pandey played well and contributed well 33 runs before left the field. Other lower orders could not bat as required run rate and managed to score 164 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 9 runs.
