But GJ Maxwell joined with CA Pujara and played firing inning of 89 runs of just 45 balls with 8 fours and 6 massive sixes. In later overs DA Miler fired Rajasthan bowlers rudely and made quicket fifty of the IPL season 7. He smashed 50 runs of just 19 balls with 6 towring sixes and lifted possible win from Rajasthan. Punjab won the match by 7 wickets.

Thus, Punjab got 2 points and still unbeaten in this season and Rajasthan 0 points. GJ Maxwell got man of the match for his super quick inning of 89 runs of just 45 balls.
