3rd T20i : Exciting match with 212 equal runs in 20 overs by both teams, India won the match in 2nd super over & won 3-match series 3-0

3rd twenty20i match of three t20i match series played between India vs Afghanistan at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

Opting to bat first, India lost four wickets just in team score 22 runs. Rohit Sharma and Rinku Singh took the chareg in han and played wonderful inning. Both smashed 190* runs for 5th wickets and put India in 212 runs in 20 overs. Rohit Sharma completed his 5th t20i century with 121 unbeaten runs of just 69 balls. Rinku Singh also joined the party and smashed 69 runs of just 39 balls. Karim Janat conceded 36 runs in 20th over.

Following huge target of 213 runs, Afghanistan with Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Ibrahim Zadran and Gulbadin Naib's fifties score 212/6 runs in 20 overs and match tied. Super Over comes in action and Afghanistan made 16 runs in 6 balls. India made same 16 runs in 6 balls. Match turn into 2nd super over. In 2nd super over India made 11 runs and Afghanistan score just 1 runs and lost the match by 10 runs in 2nd super over. Rohit declared man of the match and Shivam Dube awarded with player of the series for 124 runs and 2 wickets. India won 3-match series 3-0 as well.
