West Indies won successive world title on the back of some destructive batting and bowling. In Final match West Indies beat England by 92 runs. The final featured a brilliant hundred from Richards (138*), an even more brilliant 86 from Collis King, and a destructive 5 wickets from Joel Garner.

Australia and India played final match. Throughout the tournament India performed very well with 10 concecutive wins, but in final Australia won the match by 6 wickets.
Travis Head (Aus) made 137 runs in final match and declared man of the match. Virat Kohli declared man of the series for his 765 runs. Mhd Shami (Ind) took maximum 24 wickets in tournament.
