2nd Qualifying match of Asia Cup twenty20 2016 has been played between Hong Kong and Oman on February 19,2016 at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium, Fatullah.Having won the toss, Oman decided to bat first. Jatinder Singh 42 and lower orders Mehran Khan 28 of 16 and Amir Ali 32 of 13 super fast batting halps Oman to put huge score of 180 runs in 20 overs. Hong Kong in reply managed to score 175 runs and lost the match by 5 runs. Babar Hayat played superb inning for Hongkong and smashed 122 runs in 60 balls.

Earlier, Oman won the toss and opted to bat first. Oman batsmen played aggrassive cricket from the begning and smashed total 8 sixes in inning. Opening batsman Jatinder Singh played superb cricket and contributed well 42 runs of 35 balls from the top. Other middle orders also strike well but could not stood in middle for long. Lower order batsmen Mehran Khan smashed 28 runs of 16 balls and Amir Ali made quick 32 runs of 13balls halps Oman to put huge score of 180 runs in 20 overs.

Following huge target of 181 runs, Hong Kong most batsmen faild to stood in middle for long except Babar Hayat. He smashed very well 122 runs for Hong Kong but, not enough to reach 181 runs target. Babar Hayat bated bravely and smashed 100 runs just in 50 balls. At last Honkong managed to score 175 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by just 5 runs.
