1st twenty20 match of three t20i match series played between India vs Bangladesh at Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium, Gwalior on Tuesday, January 03, 2024.
Putting into bat first by India, Bangladesh managed to score 127 runs in 19.5 overs. Mehidy Hasan Miraz with 35 unbeaten runs was top scorer for Bangladesh. Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakravarthy bowled well and took 3 wickets each for India.
Following 128 runs target, India bated aggressively and made chase in 11.5 overs having lost 3 wickets and won the match comprehensively by 7 wickets. Hardik Pandya smashed unbeaten 36 runs of just 16 balls. Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav contributed well 29 runs each for India. Arshdeep Singh declared man of the match for his 3 wickets.
