5th group stage match of Big Bash 2016-17 has been played between PErth Scorchers and Adelaide Strikers at WACA Stadium, Perth today. Strikers won the toss and chose to field first. Scorchers middle orders played well and managed to put huge score of 197 runs in 20 overs. IR Bell made 61 runs and AJ Turner played super quick inning of 44 runs in just 19 balls with 2 fours and 4 towering sixes.
Adelaide Strikers in reply managed to score 149 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 48 runs.
