Grand Finale match of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 played between Pakistan and India on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Kennington Oval, London. Putting into bat first by India, Pakistan with top orders fluent batting performances managed to put huge total of 338 runs in 50 overs. Fakar Zaman smashed 114 runs. Azhar Ali 59, Babar Azam 46 and Mhd Hafeez also contributed well 57 runs for Pakistan. Indian batsmen in reply knees down rudly against Pakistan bowling attack and managed to score 158 runs in 30.3 overs and lost the match by huge 180 runs. Pakistan won Champions Trophy 2017 as well. Fakhar Zaman declared man of the match for his 114 runs.

Earlier, India won the toss and chose to field first. Putting into bat first by India, Pakistan got excellent start with Azhar ALi anf Fakhar Zamam initially. Both played sensible cricket during power play overs and gave Pakistan strong platform with adding 128 runs for 1st wicket in 23 overs before Azhar Ali got unfortunately run out scoring very well 59 runs. Fakhar Zamam at other hand smashed his 1st ODI cenruury and put Pakistan on front foot as well. He made 114 runs before left the field. Babar Azam and Shoaib Malik took the charge in hand and played good cricket in middle overs. Malik bacame victim of pace bowler B Kumar and got out scoring 12 runs. Babar Azam played good inning of 46 runs but lost his wicket to surprise bowler Kedar Jadav well cought by Yuvraj Singh. In later overs Imad Wasim and Mhd Hafeez played good cricket for Pakistan and Put Pakistn on huge total of 338 runs in 50 overs. Hafeez made quick 57 runs with superb batting in last few overs.

Following huge target of 339 rus, India lost RG Sharma on 3rd ball of inning wothout scoring. Skipper Kohli came in middle and went early scoring jusy 5 runs and India were in trouble. Other opening batsman got good start but fall contributing 21 runs after good start. All three wickets taken by Pakistan top bowler Mhd Amir with accurate bowling. Yuvraj and MS Dhoni came in middle to shape up India's inning as well. Both falls in quick interwals and India lost all hopes. At that stage India were 54/5 in 13.3 overs. Middle and losrwe orders KM Jadhav and HH Pandya were in middle in 14th over for India's huge chase of 339 runs. Hardik Pandya played cameo inning of 76 runs of just 43 balls with six massive sixes and four superb fours and entertain well to audiance as well. He unfortunately got run out of Jadeja's wrong call and India lost their last hope as well. Other lower orders lost wickets in regular interwals and India all out scoring just 158 runs and lost the match and CT2017 title by huge margins of 180 runs.
