2nd Test Day-4 : Bumrah's 9 wkts and Jaiswal & Shubman's centuries powered India to upset England by 106 runs and level series 1-1

2nd Test match of five test match series between India vs England at ACA-VDCA Stadium, Visakhapatnam during Friday, 02 to Tuesday 05 February, 2024.

Day-4

Resume batting on 4th day, England team all out scoring 292 runs and lost the match by huge margins of 106 runs. Zak Crawley with 73 runs and Ben Foakes & Tom Hartley's 36 runs each were top scorers for England. Jasprit Bumrah and R Ashwin took 3 wickets each for India. Bumrah declared man of the match for his 9 wickets in match. India level 5-match sereis 1-1 as well.

Day-3

Resume batting on 3rd day, India with Shubman Gills wonderful 104 runs and Axar Patel's 45 runs managed to score 255 runs in 2nd inning. Tom Hartley took 4 wickets and Rehan Ahmed took 3 wickets for England as well. England got 399 runs target to win the match. England score 67/1 at stumps day-3.

Day-2

Resume batting on 2nd day, India with Yashasvi Jaiswal's excellent 209 runs score 396 runs in 1st inning. James Anderson, Shoaib Bashir and Rehan Ahmed took 3 wickets each for England as well. England in reply all out scoring 253 runs and India gain lead of 143 runs. Zak Crawley with 76 runs and Ben Stokes' 47 runs were top scorers for England. Jasprit Bumrah bowled excellent spell of 15.5-5-45-6. Kuldeep Yadav took 3 wkts as well. India were 28/0 at stumps.

Day-1

Opting to bat first, India with Yashasvi Jaiswal's excellent batting performances score 336/6 at stumps day-1. Yashasvi Jaiswal score unbeaten 179 runs to reme 2nd day play with R Ashwin tomorrow. Shubman Gill with 34 runs and Rajat Patidar with 32 runs were other top scorers for India. Shoaib Bashir and Rehan Ahmed took 2 wickets each for England as well.
