2nd ODI match of three oneday international match series between India vs England played at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack on Sunday, 09 February, 2025.
Opting to bat first, England with Ben Duckett's 65, Joe Root's 69 and Liam Livingstone's 41 runs managed to set huge target of 305 runs for India to get. Ravindra Jadeja with 3 wickets of 35 runs was top bowler for India.
Following huge target of 305 runs, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill got good start. Both added 136 runs in 16.4 overs before Shubman got out scoring 60 runs. Rohit Sharma also played superb inning of 119 runs in 90 balls. Shreyas Iyer and Axar Patel;s unbeaten 41 runs led India to win by 4 wickets in 44.3 overs. Rohit declared man of the match. India led 3-match series 2-0 as well.
