RG Sharma's 140 runs & Rahul-Virat's fifties followed by excellent bowling powered India to upset Pakistan by 89 runs (D/L)

22nd match of ICC cricket worldcup 2019 played between India vs Pakistan on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Old Trafford, Manchester. Putting into bat first by Pakistan, India with top orders superb batting performances set huge target of 337 runs for Pakistan to get. Rohit Sharma smashed 140 runs of 113 runs. Virat Kohli 77 and KL Rahul with 57 runs were other top scorers for India. Mhd Amir bowled well and took 3 wickets for Pakistan.

Following huge target of 337 runs, Pakistan lost Imam ul-Haq early but, Fakhar and Babar played well for and contributed 62 and 48 runs before left the field. Pakistan were 166/6 in 35 overs and rain stopped the match. Match started later on and Pakistan given 302 runs target to get in 40 overs. Pakistan made 212 run and lost the match by 89 runs (D/L). Vijay Shankar, HH Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav got 2 wickets each. RG Sharma declared man of the match.
