20th Match of ICC ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 will be played between England vs South Africa at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

Putting into bat first by England, South Africa with wonderful batting performances set huge target of 400 runs for England to get. Reeza Hendricks' 85 runs, Rassie van der Dussen's 60 runs, Heinrich Klaasen's superb and quick 67 balls 109 runs and Marco Jansen's firing 42 balls unbeaten 75 runs were highlights of South African inning. Reece Topley took 3 wickets for England.

Following very hue target of 400 runs, England collepsed against South African pace bowlers and managed to score just 170 runs in 22 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 229 runs. Mark Wood with 17 balls unbeaten 43 runs was top scorer for England. Gerald Coetzee took 3 wickets. Lungi Ngidi and Marco Jansen also picked up 2 wickets each for Africa as well. Heinrich Klaasen declared man of the match for his superb 109 runs.
