2nd match of ICC t20 Worldcup 2024 Super Eight stage played between England vs West Indies at Daren Sammy Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia on Thursday, June 20, 2024.
Putting into bat first by England, West Indies with Johnson Charles' 38, Nicholas Pooran and Rovman Powell's 36 runs each and Sherfane Rutherford's 15 balls unbeaten 28 runs set good target of 181 runs for England to get.
Following 181 runs target, England made chase easily in 17.3 overs and won the match comprehensively by 8 wickets. Phil Salt with 47 balls unbeaten 87 runs and Jonny Bairstow with 26 balls 48 unbeaten runs were top scorers for England.
