11th match of ICC t20 Worldcup 2024 Super Eight stage played between India vs Australia at Daren Sammy Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia on Monday, June 24, 2024.
Putting into bat first by Australia, India lost Virat for duck. Rohit Sharma took the charge in hand and played firing of 42 balls 92 runs with 7 four and 8 massive sixes. Suryakumar Yadav 16 balls 31 runs, Shivam Dube 22 balls 28 runs and Hardik Pandya 17 balls unbeaten 7 runs were other highlights of Indian inninh. India set huge target of 206 runs for Australia to get.
Following huge target of 206 runs, Australia also lost Warner early scoring just 6 runs. Travis Head with 43 balls 76 runs and Mitchell Marsh's with 37 runs played well but other middle and lower orders failed to bat well and Australia managed to score 181/7 runs in 20 overs. India won by 24 runs. Arshdeep Singh took 3 wicket and Kuldeep claimed 2 wicket. Rohit declared man of the match for his firing 42 balls 92 runs.
