9th match of ICC t20 Worldcup 2024 Super Eight stage played between USA vs England at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados on Sunday, June 23, 2024.
Putting into bat first by England, USA with very slow batting performances set small target of 116 runs for England to get. USA team all out in 18.5 overs and Nitish Kumar with 30 runs was top scorer. Chris Jordan claimed hat-trick in 19th over ending with wonderful spell 2.5-0-10-4.
Following small target of 116 runs, England finshed the given chase in style in 9.4 overs without losing any wicket and won the match comprehensively by huge margins of 10 wickets. Phil Salt with 25 runs and Jos Buttler with quick 38 balls 83 runs remained unbeaten as well. Adil Rashid declared man of the match for his 2 wickets of just 13 runs in his 4 overs.
