Opting to bat first, Afghanistan with Hazratullah Zazai's 33, Mohammad Shahzad's 45 and Mohammad Nabi's quick 17 balls 32 unbeaten runs set good target of 161 runs for Namibia to get. Ruben Trumpelmann and Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton took 2 wickets each for Namibia as well. Namibia in reply score 98 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 62 runs. Naveen-ul-Haq and Hamid Hassan bowled well and took 3 wickets each. Navee-ul-Haq declared man of the match but he ownered his award to retired Afghanistan formar captain Asghar Afghan as well.
