Final Match - Sam Curran's 4 for 12 & Ben Stokes' 52* runs led England to upset Pakistan by 5 wkts and won t20 worldcup title 2022
ICC T20 worldcup 2022 India vs England match played on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Putting into bat first by England, Pakistan with very poor bating performances managed to set small target of 138 runs for England to get. Shan Masood with 38 runs were top scorer for Pakistan. Sam Curran bowled well ad took 3 wickets of just 12 runs in his 4 overs. Adil Rashid and Chris Jordan also picked up 2 wickets each for England.
Following small target of 138 runs, England with Jos Buttler's 26 runs and Ben Stokes' wonderful 52 unbeaten runs made given chase in 19 overs and won the match comprehensively by 5 wickets. Sam Curran declared man of the match for his 3 wickets of 12 runs. England won ICC T20 Worldcup title 2022 as well.
