9th and important match of ICC Worldt20 qualifier has been played between Afghanistan and Zimbabwe today at Vidarbha Cricket Stadium, Nagpur. Opting to bat first, Afghanistan put huge totals of 186 runs in 20 overs. Mohammad Nabi made quick 52 of 32 bals for Afghanistan. Zimbabwe in reply managed to score 127 runs in 19.4 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 59 runs. Mohammad Nabi declared man of the match for his 52 runs and 1 wicket.

Earlier, Afghanistan won the toss and decided to bat first. Afghanistan made firing start and Mohammad Shahzad played quick inning of 40 runs of just 23 balls from the top. Samiullah Shenwari also played well and contributed well 43 runs. In later overs Mohammad Nabi played firing inning of 52 runs of 32 balls and put Afghanistan on huge totals of 186 runs in 20 overs.

Following huge target of 187 runs. Zimbabwe batsmen faild to stood in middle for long and kept losing wickets in regular interwals. At last Zimbabwe team all out scoring 127 runs in 19.4 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 59 runs. Afghanistan now qualify for super 10 group matches.
