7th match of ICC Worldt20 has been played between India and Pakistan at Eden Gardens, Kolkata today. Match delayed by rain and cut to 18 overs per side. Putting into bat first by India, Pakistan managed to put 118 runs in 18 overs. India with V Kohli's 55* runs chased the given target successfully in 15.5 over and won the most awaiting match by 6 wickets with 13 balls remainings. V Kohli declared man of the match for his brave batting performances with 55* runs just in 37 balls.
Earlier, India won the toss and put Pakistan into bat first in very crucial match for India. Pakistan with oky batting performances put 118 runs in 18 overs. Shoaib Malik made 26 runs and he was top scorer for Pakistan.
Following small target of 119 runs, India could made batter start and lost top arders early and at one stage India were 3/23 in 4.3 overs. V Kohli and Yuvraj Singh took charge in hand and played sensible cricket for India. Yuvraj Singh made well 24 runs before left the field but, V Kohli stood in middle till end and gave India comprehensive win over Pakistan by 6 wickets with 13 ballsremainings.
