5th match of ICC Worldt20 2016 qualifier round has been played between Scotland and Zimababe at Vidarbha Cricket Stadium, Nagpur today. Opting to bat first Zimbabwe with SC Williams 53 of 36 balls put good total of 147 runs in 20 overs. Scotland managed to score 136 runs in 19.4 overs and lost the match by 11 runs. WP Masakadza (Zimbabwe) declared man of the match for his 4 wkts in his 4 overs spending 28 runs.

Earlier, Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat first. Zimbabwe could not made batter start and lost 2 wickets of just 19 runs. SC Williams came in middle and played superb inning of 53 runs of just36 balls and put Zimbabwe on 147 runs in 20 overs.

Following target of 148 runs, Scotland could made good start and top orders failed to bat well. At one stage Scotland were 20/4 just in 3.1 overs. RD Berrington and skipper PL Mommsen took charge in hand and played good cricket in middle overs. PL Mommsen contributed well 31 runs before lost his wicket. RD Berrington played sensible cricket for Scotland and made 36 runs. Other lower order batsmen could ot hold nerves well to follow higher required runs rates and kept losing wickets in regular interwals. At last team Scotland managed to score 136 runs in 19.4 overs and lost the match by 11 runs.
