3rd ODI : Smith's 131 went in vain as Rohit's 119 & Virat's 89 runs led Ind to crush Aus by 7 wkts and won series 2-1

3rd one-day match of 3 ODI match series played between India and Australia at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. Opting to bat first, Australia after having lost Warner (3) and AJ Finch (19) early, managed to set good defending target of 287 runs for India to get. SPD Smith smashed century with 131 runs and Labuschagne played useful inning of 54 runs for Australia. Mohammed Shami bowled well and took 4 wickets of 63 runs.

Following 287 runs target, India with Rohit Sharma's wonderful 119 runs, Virat Kohli's superb 89 and Shreyas Iyer's quick 44* runs made comprehensive win by 7 wickets in 47.3 overs with 15 balls remaining. RG Sharma declared man of the match for his century. Virat Kohli declared man of the series for his excellent contribution with bat and made 183 runs in 3 matches. India won 3-match one-day series 2.1 as well.
