Warner's 124 and Finch's 94 helps Australia to registered 1st win of India tour, India still led 5-match series 3-1
4th one-day international match of 5-match series between India and Australia played today at M Chinnaswamy Stadoum, Bangalore. Opting to bat first, Australia put huge total of 334 runs in 50 overs. David Warner's hundred knock and AJ Finch's excellent 94 runs helps Australia to put huge total for India to get. UT adav took 4 wickets for India. India in reply managed to score 313/8 ruins in 50 overs and lost the match by 21 runs. DA Warner declared man of the match for his 124 runs.
Earlier, Australia won tehe toss and decided to bat first. Opting to bat first Australia got superb start with AJ Finch and DA Warner. Both played excellent cricket for Australia and added 231 runs for the 1st wicket before DA Warner got out after smashing spledid 124 runs. This is Warner's 100th ODI as well. AJ Finch also gone on the same total after contributing well 94 runs. Australia were 231/0 in 35 overs and suddenly were 236/3 in 37th overs. SPD Smith came in middle and mede his way quickly scoring just 3 runs. PSP Handscomb in later overs played quick inning of 43 runs in 30 balls and put Australia on huge total of 334/5 runs in 50 overs. Umesh Yada bowled well India and took 4 wickets.
Following huge target of 335 runs, India got excellent start with AM Rahane and RG Sharma initially. Both played good cricket added 106 runs for 1st wicket before Rahane got out scoring very well 53 runs. Rohit Sharma was playing very well but unfortunately got run out contributing 65 runs of 55 balls. Skipper Kohli could not do much today and left the field scoring 21 runs. HH Pandya and KM Jadhav tok the charge in hand for India and both played sensible cricket in middle overs. Both made 41 and 67 runs respectively before left the field. Manish Pandey with 33 runs and MS Dhoni 13 of 10 balls tried their level best but could not cross Australian score and India finished on 313/8 runs in 50 overs. India lost the match by 21 runs and Australia got 1st win of the India tour. India still led 5-match series 3-1.
