England out played India in all department and cruised by 7 wickets in very 1st match of 3 t20i match series at Kanpur

Putting into bat first by England, India's most batsmen failed to bat well and managed to put average score of 147 runs in 20 overs. MS Dhoni was highest run maker with 36* runs. Raina also contributed 34 runs for India. MM Ali picked up 2 wickets for England.

Following target of 148 runs, England got firing start with JJ Roy and SW Billings initially. Both played quick innings of 19 and 22 runs before got out of YS Chahal's over. Skipper EJG Morgan and JE Root took the charge in hand and played sensible cricket in middle overs. Both added 83 runs together before EJG Morgan got out scoring important 51 runs of just 38 balls. He Smashed 4 massive sixes in his fluent inning. Rest was done by JE Root and BA Stokes and England registered comprehensive win by 7 wickets with 11 balls remaining. Root played well and made well 46* runs. MM Ali declared man of the match for his tight bowling spell and picked up 2 important wickets. England led the 3-match series 1-0 as well.
