Dhoni's maiden T20I 50 & Raina's 63 followed by YS Chahal's killer bowling with 6 for 25 helped India thump England by 75 runs and won all formats in series
In a decider 3rd twenty20 international match at Bangalore England once again won the toss and put India into bat first. India lost skipper early unfortunately run out in very second over. KL Rahul and SK Raina took the charge in hand and added 61 runs before Rahul got out scoring 22 runs. MS Dhoni joined with Raina and played spectacular cricket in middle overs. Raina completed his 50 and got out in hurry scoring well 63 runs of 45 balls. He smashed 5 sixes in his brave inning. MS Dhoni continued to bat well and completed his 1st half-century in his t20i career with superb batting display. He made quick 56 runs of 36 balls before lost his wicket. Yuvraj Singh also played a cameo role in later overs and smashed 27 runs of just 10 balls with 3 massive sixes and 1 four. India managed to put huge 202 runs in 20 overs.
Following huge target of 203 runs, Englandcould not made batter start and lost SW Billings for a no score. JJ Roy and JE Root took the charge in hand and played good cricket in power play. Roy played good inning of 32 runs in 23 balls before lost his wicket to Amit Mishra. Skipper EJG Morgan joined with Root and played quick cricket in middle overs. He and Root got out on a consecutive balls of YS Chahal and England were in deep trouble. Morgan made quick 40 of 21 balls and Rot contributed well 42 of 37 balls. Next coming wicketkeeper batsman gone for a duck of Bumrah. YS Chahal once again came in action and picked up 3 more wickets in his 4th over and ended with his best figure 4-0-25-6. Rest was done by Bumrah and England all out scoring 127 runs in 16.3 overs and lost the match by huge 75 runs. India won the t20i series 2-0 and also won all format series of the tour as well.
YS Chahal won the man of the match for his 6 for 25 runs and also got man of the series for his useful bowling in power play and picked up 8 wickets in series.
