3rd ODI : Sam Curran's impressive 95* runs honoured, but India made 7 runs win and clinch 3-match series 2-1
3rd one-day international match of three ODI match series will be played between India and England at Maharastra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune.
Putting into bat first by England, India made good start with Rohit and Dhawan initially. Both added 103 runs before Rohit got out scoring 37 runs. Shikhar also followed him scoring well 67 runs. Kohli and KL Rahul failed today and left the field scoring 7 runs each. RR Pant and Hardik Pandya took the charge in hand and played quick innings for India both added 99 runs before Pant got out scoring superb 62 balls 78 runs. Hardik also played firing inning of 44 balls 64 runs and India managed to set huge target of 330 runs for England to get in series decider match.
Following huge target of 330 runs, England lost inform opening batsmen on team score 28 runs. Ben Stokes got god start but made his way scoring 35 runs. Buttler also followed him scoring 15 runs and England were in trouble. Dawid Malan played good cricket and contributed well 50 runs. Lower order batsman Sam Curren took the charge in hand and played wonderful inning of unbeaten 95 runs and took the match on the last ball of the match. England short by just 7 runs and lost very exciting match at the end. SN Thakur bowled well and took 4 wickets and B Kumar bowled tighr spell of 10-0-42-3 for India as well. Sam Curan awarded by man of the match for his impressive 95 runs. JM Bairstow declared man of the match fpr his 219 runs in 3-match. India won 3-match series 2-1 as well.
