1st T20i : Rohit's 48 and Suryakumar's superb 40 balls 62 led India to knees down New Zealand by 5 wkts

1st twenty20 match of three t20i match series between India and New Zealand played at Jaipur.

Puting into bat first by India, New Zealand lost Daryl Mitchell for no score in very first over. But Martin Guptill and Mark Chapman played wonderful cricket for New Zealand. Both added 109 runs for 2nd wicket as well. Mark Chapman made 50 balls 63 runs and Martin Guptill smashed 42 balls 70 runs with four masive sixes. New Zealand set 165 runs target for India. B Kumar and R Ashwin took 2 wickets each for India.

Following 165 runs, India with Rohit Sharma's 48 runs and Suryakumar Yadav's quick 40 balls 62 runs made chase given target in 19.4 overs and won the match by 5 wickets. Suryakumar Yadav declared man of the match. India led the 3-match series 1-0 as well.
