2nd t20i : Harshal's 2 for 25 & Rohit - Rahul's 1st wickets 117 runs stand powered India to knees down New Zealand by 7 wkts

2nd twenty20 match of three t20i match series between India and New Zealand hase been played at Ranchi.

Putting into bat first by India, New Zealand got firing srart with MJ Guptill initially. He Smashed 15 balls 31 runs with 2 sixes and 3 fours before got out. Daryl Mitchell also made 31 runs. But other middle and lower order batsmen failed to kept the momentum and New Zealand managed to score 153 runs in 20 overs. Debuten Harshal Patel bowled well and took 2 wickets of 25 runs.

Following 154 runs, India with Rohit and KL Rahul's 117 runs 1st wicket stand got wonderful start. KL Rahul smashed 49 balls 65 runs and Rohit made 36 balls 55 runs with 5 massive sixes. India made chase easily in 17.2 overs and won by 7 wickets. Tim Southee bowled well for NZ and took 3 wickets of 16 runs. Harshal Patel declared man of the match for his 2 wkts. India led the 3-match series 2-0 as well.
