1st One dat international match of India vs South Africa series 2015 was played at Kanpur today. South Africa with skipper AB de Villiers' brillient 104* knock registered comprehensive win over India in 5 ODI series and led by 1-0. AB de Villiers daclared man of the match for his spuerb inning of 104* runs.

Earlier, South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first. South Africa started well but lost Q de Kock early scoring 29 runs. F de Plessis joined with HM Amla and took the charge in hand. Both played well and kept wickets in hand for few overs. HM Amla gone scoring 37 runs but, Plessis played good inning of 62 runs before he departed. Skipper AB de Villiers' trumendis inning of 104* runs helps South Africa to put huge score of 303 runs at the end of 50 overs.

Following huge target of 304 runs, India lost S Dhawan early scoring 23 runs. AM Rahane joined with RG Sharma and played superb inning for India. Rahane made very well 60 runs before he left the field. RG Sharma played brave inning of 150 runs and put India in front foot. In later overs skipper MS Dhoni made 31 runs and tried his best to achieve given target but kept short by 5 runs and lost the match by very little margin of 5 runs.
