India won the toss and elected to bat first in 2nd ODI against South Africa serias 2015 at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore. India put 247 runs with MS Dhoni's superb 92 and AM Rahane's 51 runs in 50 overs. South Africa in reply managed to score 225 runs and lost the match by 22 runs. MS Dhohi declared man of the match for his splendid 92* runs.

Earlier, Opting to bat first after win the toss, India could not get good start and lost RG Sharma (3) and S Dhawan (23) early. AM Rahane came in middle and played good inning of 51 runs for India. Kohli and Raina also faile today and lost their wickets scoring 12 and 0 runs respectively. Skipper Dhoni took the charge in hand played very good inning of 92* ruins and put respectable totals of 247 runs in 50 overs.

Following target of 248 runs, Suoth Africa started inning aggrassively. Spinners striked well and specially, AR Patel bowled well today. He picked up important 3 wickets in his spell spending 39 runs. Harbhajan Sngh also took 2 wickets. F du Plessis contributed well and made 51 runs before he lost the wickets. JP Duminy made 36 runs for South Africa. Lower orders surrenders against Bhuvneshwar Kumar and South Africa all out scoring 225 runs and lost the match by 22 runs. B Kumar picked up 3 wickets. India level 5 ODI match series 1-1.
