4th ODI match of 5-match series between India and South Africa played at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai today. Electing to bat First, India managed to put huge score of 299 with Virat Kohli's splendid 138, AM Rahane 45 and SK Raina's 53 runs. South Africa could not chased given target of 300 runs well and managed to score 264 runs in 50 overs. India won by 35 runs. Virat Kohli (India) declared man of the match for his splendid 138 runs.

Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat first. India could not got good start and losr both openers early. RG Sharma 21 and S Dhawan 15 gone early. V Kohli and AM Rahane took charge in hand and played superb innings for India. Both plaed well and made 104 runs partnership before AM Rahane got out scoring 45 runs. SK Raina joined with Kohli and he also contributed well 53 runs of just 52 balls. Virat Kohli smashed superb 138 runs before left the field. At the end of 50 overs India managed to put good totals of 299 runs for South Africa to achieved.

Following target of 300 runs, South Africa lost HM Amla early scoring 7 runs. F du Plessis also failed today and back to pavellion scoring just 17 runs. Q de Kock 43 and skipper AB de Villiers 112 played superb cricket for South Africa but failde to achieved huge traget of India. At the end of 50 overs South Africa managed to score 364 runs and lost the match by 35 runs.
