1st Twenty20 match between India and South Africa of Nelson-Mendela series 2015 has been played as Dharamsala today. Putting into bat first by South Africa, India bated well and put good totals of 199 runs in 20 overs. RG Sharma made superb hundred for India. South Africa in reply chased the given target successfully in 19.4 overs and registered comprehensive win over India by 7 wickets with 2 balls remainings. JP Duminy played well and made 68 runs just in 34 balls for Africa and declared man of the match for his brave inning.
Earlier, South Africa won the toss and elected to field first. India putting into bat first by South Africa, could not got good start and lost S Dhawan early. Virat Kohli joined with RG Sharma and took charge in hand. Both played good cricket and made 138 runs partnership for 2nd wicket before Kohli lost his wicket contributing 43 runs. RG Sharma played trumendis inning of 106 runs and helps India to put huge score of 199 runs at the end of 20 overs.
Following target of 200 runs, South Africa got excellent start with HM Amla and AB de Villers. Both played quick cricket and added 77 runs just in 7.4 overs. Amla got unfortunately run out scoring 35 runs and AB de Villiers also followed him contributing quick 51 runs of 32 balls. Skipper F du Plessis also lost his wicket scoring just 4 runs. JP Duminy and F Behardien came in middle and played fentastic innings for South Africa and gave comprehensive win in 19.4 overs. JP Duminy made 68*(34) and F Behardien contributed 32* (23) for South Africa.
