3rd One-day : Dominant India crushed Sri Lanka by 8 wickets with splendid all round performances at Vizag and won 3-match series 2-1

3rd and decider one day international match of 3-match series between India and Sri Lanka played at Visakhapatnam today. Putting into bat first by India, Sri Lanka got excellent start but falls in middle overs and managed to put small total of 215 runs and all out in 44.5 overs. WU Tharanga played splendid inning of 95 runs and S Samarawickrama contributed well 42 runs for Sri Lanka. Kuldeep Yadav and YS Chahal picked up 3 wickets each with excellent bowling performances. HH Pandya also got 2 wickets for India. India in reply made chase easily with S Dhawan's ton and SS Iyer's 65 runs in 32.1 overs and won the match by huge margins of 8 wickets. India won 3-match series by 2-1 as well. Kuldeep Yadav got man of the match award for his excellent bowling and picked up 3 wickets. S Dhawan declared man of the series for his powerful bating in series.

Following small total of 215 runs, India lost skipper RG Sharma early but S Dhaan and Shreyas Iyer played superb cricket for India and presented India well dererve win over Sri Lanka by huge margins of 8 wickets with 107 balls remaining. SS Iyer contributed well 65 runs and S Dhawan remained not out scoring excellent 100 runs. India won 3-match ODI series 2-1 as well.
