3rd T20i : SS Iyer's third consecutive fifty powered India to knee down Sri Lanka by 6 wkts & clean sweep by 3-0

3rd twenty20 international match of three T20i match series played between Sri Lanka and India on February 27, 2022 at HPCA Stadium, Dharamsala.

Opting to bat first, Sri Lanka lost top three wickets just in 11 runs. At one stage Sri Lanka were 60/5 in 13th over. Skipper Dasun Shanaka played wonderful inning of 38 balls 74 unbeaten runs and set defending target of 147 runs for India to get.

Following 147 runs, India lost Rohit early scoring just 5 runs. Man in form Shreyas Iyer came in middle and once again played wonderful inning. He smashed his third consecutive fifty and presented one more comprehensive win by 6 wickets with 19 balls remaining. SS Iyers made 73 unbeaten runs in 45 balls. He declared man of the match and player of the series as well. India won the 3-match series 3-0.
