2nd match of three twenty20 international match series between India and Sri Lanka has been played at JSCA International Cricket Stadium, Ranchi today. Putting into bat first by Sri Lanka, India got good start with top orders and managed to put huge score of 196 runs in 20 overs. S Dhawan smashed quick 51 runs of just 25 balls. Super peace of bowling preformances knees down Sri Lanka in 127 runs and won the match by huge margins of 69 runs. India level 3 t20i match series 1-1. S Dhawan declared man of the match for his firing 51 runs of just 25 balls.

Earlier, Sri Lanka won the toss and put India into bat first. India got firing start with RG Sharma and S Dhawan. Both played superb cricket and went after Sri Lankan bowlers rudely. S Dhawan smashed quick 51 runs of just 25 balls. RG Sharma also contributed well 43 runs of 36 balls before wicket. Other middle and lower order batsmen also played positive cricket and kept run rates high till last over. AM Rahane 25, SK Raina 30 and Hardik Pandya smashed 27 runs of just 12 balls in middle overs. In 19th over PErera picked up hat-trick wickets and put some break on Indians. Perera took Raina, Pandya and Yuvraj Singh in three consecutive balls. India managed to put good totals of 196 runs in 20 overs.

Following huge target of 197 runs, Sri Lanka could not made batter start and lost TM Dilshan for a duck on very second ball of inning. Next coming batsman Prassana also made his way scoring just 1 runs. Another opener MD Gunathilaka also faild to stood in middle for long and left the field scoring just 2 runs. Skipper D Chandimal and KApuragenda shaped up Sri Lanka inning for some time and kept wickets in hand for few overs. Both were sent in pavillion on consecutive balls by RA Jadeja and Sri Lanka wee in deep trouble. Other lower order batsmen tried their level bet but faild to achieved huge totals of 197 runs.
