1st one-day match of 5 ODI match series played between India and West Indies at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati (D/N). Putting into bat first by India, West Indies with Hetmyer's excellent 106 runs of 78 balls put huge total of 322 runs in 50 overs. India in reply with RG Sharma and Virat Kohli's super fine batting with 246 runs 2nd wicket stand won the match by 8 wickets. V Kohli smashed his 36th ton and contributed 140 runs before left the field. RG Sharma also completed his century with superb batting performance. He remained not out till end and made 152 runs. Virat Kohli declared man of the match for his 140 runs. India won the match by 8 wickets with 47 balls remaining. India led 5-match series 1-0 as well.
