2nd T20i : Abhishek's firing 47 balls 100 & Rinku's 22 balls 48* runs followed by superb bowling powered India to win over Zimbabwe by huge 100 runs

2nd twenty20i match of five t20i match series has been played between Zimbabwe vs India at Harare Sports Club Ground, Harare on Sunday, July 07, 2024.

Opting to bat first, India lost Shubman early scoring just 2 runs. Ruturaj Gaikwad joined with Abhishek Sharma and took the charge in hand for India. Both played well and added 137 runs for 2nd wicket before Abhishek Sharma got put scoring firing 47 balls 100 runs with 7 fours and 8 massive sixes. Ruturaj Gaikwad also conrtibuted well unbeaten 77 runs. Rinku Singh in later overs played quick inning of 22 balls unbeaten 48 runs and helps India to set huge target of 235 runs for Zimbabwe to get.

Following huge target of 235 runs, Zimbabwe team all out scoring 134 runs in 18.4 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 100 runs. Wessly Madhevere with 43 runs and Luke Jongwe with 33 runs were top scorers for Zimbabwe. Mukesh Kumar and Avesh Khan claimed 3 wickets each for India. Abhishek Sharma declared man of the match for his quick 46 balls 100 runs match winning inning.
