5th Test match of five test match series played between Australia vs India at Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney during Friday, 03 January to 07 January, 2024.

Day-3

After getting India allout on 157 runs in 2nd inning,. Australia got 162 runs target to win the match. Australia with Usman Khawaja 41, Travis Head 34* and Beau Webster 39* runs made chase easily in 27 overs and won the match by 6 wickets. Scott Boland declared player of the match for his 10 wickets in match. Australia won 5 match test series 3-1 as well.

Day-1

Opting to bat first, India's batting flop show continued and team all out scoring 185 runs. Rishabh Pant with 40 runs was top scorer for India. Scott Boland took 4 wickets and Mitchell Starc with 3 wickets were top bowlers for Australia. Batting in 1st inning Australia are 9/1 at stumps day-1. Sam Konstas with 7 runs and Marnus Labuschagne with 0 runs will resume batting on day-2.
