England with Joe Root's 142* and Jonny Bairstow 114* runs made huge chase of 378 runs having lost just 3 wickets and won the match comprehensively by 7 wickets. Jonny Baistow declared man of the match for his 106 runs in 1st inning and 114* runs in 2nd inning. Joe Root declared man of the series for his 737 runs in 5 test match series with 4 centuries. 5-match series level 2-2 as well.
Day - 4 : Pujara's 66 and Rishabh Pant's 57 runs helps India to set 378 runs target for England to win the match
India batting in 2nd inning with CA Pujara's 66 runs and Rishabh Pant's 57 runs were 229/7 at lunch Day-4. India led by 362 runs. India all out scoring 245 runs just after lunch. Ben Stokes took 4 wickets for England. India set 378 target for England to win the match. England were 260/3 at stumps with Joe Root 76* and Jonny Bairstow 73* batting. England needs more 119 runs to win.
Day - 3 : Bairstow's 106 runs helps England to made 284 runs in 1st inning but trailed by 132 runs, India were 125/3 at stumps & led by 257 runs
England managed to score 284 runs in 1st inning with JM Bairstows' 106 runs. Mhd Siraj took 3 wkts, Shami 2 wkts & Bumrah took 4 wkts for India. India got 132 runs lead over England as well. India in 2nd inning were 125/3 with Pujara 50* and RR Pant 30* batting. India led by 257 runs.
Day - 2 : Rishabh's 146 & Jajeja's 104 runs with Bumrah's record 35 runs in one over helps India to a 416 runs in 1st inngs
Resume batting from 338/7, India managed to score 416 runs in 1st inning. Jadeja smashed 104 runs and Jasprit Bumrah smashed record 35 runs in Stuart Broad's one over. James Anderson claimed 5 wicket hall for Englans as well.
Day - 1 : Rishabh's 146 & Jajeja's 83* with 222 runs 6th wkts stand led India to frustrated England with 338/7 at stumps Day-1
Putting into bat first by England, India top orders failed to bat well and at one stage were 98/5 in 27.5 overs. Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja took the charge in hand and played superb cricket for India. Rishabh made wonderful and quick 111 balls 146 runs before left the field. Jadeja continued to bat at stumps with impressive 83 runs. India were 338/7 at stumps Day-1. James Anderson bowled well and took 3 wkts. Matthew Potts also picked up 2 wkts with impressive bowling for England.
