2nd T20i : Jadeja's 46* runs followed by Bhuvi-Bumrah's killer bowling powered India upset England by 49 runs

2nd twenty20 international match of three t20i match series played between England vs India at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, Nottingham on Sunday, July 03, 2022.

Putting into bat first by England, India with Rohit Sharma's 20 balls 31 runs, Rishabh Pant's 15 balls 26 runs and Ravindra Jadeja's 29 balls 46 unbeaten runs managed to set good defending target of 171 runs for England to get. Richard Gleeson bowled well and took 3 wickets of 15 runs in his very first match. Chris Jordan also bowled well and took 4 wickets of 27 runs for England.

Following 171 runs, Englan lost Jeson Roy for a duck of very 1st ball of inning. Buttler also followed him scoring just 4 runs. England at one stage wee 6/60 in 10.2 overs. Moeen Ali with 35 runs and David Willey with 33* runs tried best but England managed to score 121 runs and lost the match by huge 49 runs. B Kumar bowled well and took 3 wkts of just15 runs. Bumrah & Chahal also pocked up two wickets each. B Kumar declared man of the match. India led 3-match series 2-0 as well.
