2nd oneday international match of three odi match series played between Zimbabwe vs India at Harare Sports Club, Harare on Saturday, August 20, 2022.
Putting into bat first, Zimbabwe onec again with poor batting performances managed to score 161 runs in 38.1 overs and all out. Sean Williams with 42 runs and Ryan Burl with unbeaten 39 runs were top scorers for Zimbabwe, Shardul Thakur once again bowled well and took 3 wickets of 38 runs in his 7 overs.
Following small target of 162 runs, India with Shikhar Dhawan & Shubman Gill's 33 runs and Sanju Samson's unbeaten 43 runs of 39 balls made chase easily in 25.4 overs and won the match by five wickets. Luke Jongwe took 2 wkts for Zimbabwe. Sanju Samson declared man of the match for his 43* runs and 3 catches beind wickets. India led the 3-match series 2-0 as well.
