VIVO IPL 2017 season 10 18th encounter between Delhi Daredevils vs Kolkata Knight Riders at Feroze Shah Kotla, Delhi on April 17, 2017 at 4:00 pm. Chose to bat first, Delhi managed to set good target of 169 runs for Kolkata with SV Samson's 39 and RR Pant's firing 38 of 16 balls with 4 massive sixes. N Coulter Nile took 3 wickets for Kolkata with good bowling. Kolkata with YK Pathan's 59 and MK Pandey's excellent unbeaten 69 of 49 balls upset Delhi by 4 wickets. MK Pandey declared man of the match for his 69* runs.

Opting to bat first Delhi made excellent start with SV Samson and SW Billing initially. SW Billings got out out scoring 21 runs and KK Nair joined with Samson to take charge in hand. he also scor same 21 runs before got out. SV Samson played well and contributed 39 runs of 25 balls before left the field. SS Iyer also got good start but got out scoring 26 runs. In later overs RR Pant played firing inning of 38 runs of 16 balls and put Delhi on good total of 168 runs in 20 overs. RR Pant hitz four massive sixes in his brave inning.N Coulter Nile picked up 3 wickets for Kolkata.

Following target of 169 runs. Kolkata could not made batter start and lost top three wickets just in 21 runs. Skipper G Gambhir (14), C de Grandhomme (1) and RV Uthappa (4) were top 3 wickets dismissed in quick interwals. MK Pandey and YK Pathan came in middle and played good cricket for Kolkata and put break on wicket falling as well. Both played superb cricket and smashed fifties as well and put Kolkata in winning position. YK Pathan made 59 and MK Pandey contributed excellent 69 unbeaten runs and presented Kolkata very well win over Delhi by 4 wickets at Feroze Shah Kotla.
