VIVO IPL 2017 season 10 14th encounter between Kolkata Knight Riders vs Sunrisers Hyderabad at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on April 15, 2017 at 4:00 pm. Putting into bat first by Hyderabad, Kolkata put good total of 172 runs in 20 overs. Hyderabad failed to reach at target in 20 overs and managed to score 155 runs having lost 6 wikcets and lost the match by 17 runs. RV Uthappa got man of the match for his 68 runs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and elected to field first. Kolkata could not made batter start and pinch hitter SP Narine gone early scoring 6 runs. Skipper Gambhir also failed today and lost his wicket scoring 15 runs. RV Uthappa and MK Pandey took the charge in hand and played good cricket for Kolkata. Uthappa completed his 1st fifty of IPL 2017 and got out scoring very well 68 runs of 39 balls. MK Pandey also played well and contributed 46 runs of 35 balls. YK Pathan's 21 of 15 balls put Kolkata on good total of 172 runs in 20 overs. B Kumar bowled well and picked up 3 wickets of 20 runs.

Hyderabad in reply manged to score 155 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 17 runs. Most batsmen got good start but failed to convert their innings for long. DA Warner and Yuvraj Singh were top scorer for SRH and both made 26 runs each. RV Uthappa got man of the match award for his 68 runs of 39 balls.
