VIVO IPL 2017 season 10 10th encounter between Mumbai Indians v Sunrisers Hyderabad at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on April 12, 2017 at 8:00 pm. Hyderabad put small total of 158 runs for Mumbai to get and Mumbai achieved the given target in 18.4 overs having lost 6 wickets and registered back to back 2nd win in IPL 2017 by 4 wickets at Wankhede. JJ Bumrah bowled well and picked up 3 wickets for 24 runs, he declared man of the match.

Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to field. Putting into bat first by Mumbai, Hyderabad got fluent start with DA Warner and S Dhawan initially. Both played well and added 81 runs in 10.2 overs before Warner got out 49 runs. After that three wickets quickly. S Dhawan aldo depart scoring 48 runs. Other lower order could not play good cricket and Hyderabad managed to put 158 runs in 20 overs.

Following targetof 159 runs, Mumbai lost JC Buttler early scoring 14 runs. Skipper RG Sharma also departed early scoring just 4 runs. N Rana and Pa Patel took the charge in hand and played good cricket in middle overs. Pa Patel played good inning of 39 runs before lost his wicket. KA Pollard came in and got out contributing just 11 runs and Mumbai were in trouble. KA Pandya joined with N Rana and put Mumbai in winning situation. KA Pandya played quick inning of 37 runs of just 20 balls and N Rana made useful 45 runs before left the field. Rest few runs made by tail enders and Mumbai won by 4 wickets with 8 balls remaining.
