VIVO IPL 2017 season 10 30th encounter between Rising Pune Supergiants vs Kolkata Knight Riders at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune on April 26, 2017 at 8:00 pm. Putting into bat first by Kolkata, Pune managed to put good total of 182 runs in 20 overs. SPD Smith made well 51* runs for Pune. Kolkata in reply chased the given target in 18.1 overs having lost 3 wickets and won the match by 7 wickets. G Gambhir made well 62 runs but RV Uthappa declared man of the match for his 87 runs of 47 balls and three stumpings behind stumps as well.

Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and elected to field first. Pune putting into bat first got excellent start with AM Rahane and RA Tripathi as well. Both played well and added 65 runs in 7.5 overs before Tripathi left scoring 38 runs. Rahane also played good inning of 46 runs before got out. Next men Skipper SPD Smith and MS Dhoni also played good cricket and made 51* and 23 runs respectively and put Pune on good total of 182 runs in 20 overs.

Following target of 183 runs, Kolkata lost hitting man SP Naring early scoring 16 runs. RV Uthappa joined with skipper G Gambhir and took the charge in hand for KKR. Both played excellent cricket and led Kolkata for a very well win over Pune as well. G Gambhir made 62 runs and Uthappa once again powered Kolkata to a superb win contributing 87 runs of just 47 balls. Kolkata won the match by 7 wickets in 18.1 overs and rule the points tally of IPL 2017 with 12 points as well.
