VIVO IPL 2017 season 10 Eliminator match between Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkata Knight Riders at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore on May 17, 2017 at 8:00 pm. Putting into bat first by Kolkata, Hyderabad managed to score just 128 runs in 20 overs. DA Warner with 37 runs was highest scorer for SRH. Rain delayed the match and KKR given 48 runs to win in 6 overs. Kolkata made chase easily in 5.2 overs having lost 3 wickets and won by 7 wickets (D/L). N Coulter Nile declared man of the match for his 3 wickets. Kolkata will play with Mumbai in Qualifier 2 to qualify for IPL 2017 finale.

Earlier, Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and elected to field first. Putting into bat first by Kolkata, Hyderabad got good start with skipper DA Warner and S Dhawan initially. S Dhawan got out scoring 11 runs in 5th overs. KS Willimson joined with Warner and played slow but sensible cricket for Sunrisers. Both added 50 runs for 2nd wicket and got out in quick successions. Warner made 37 runs and Willimson contributed 24 runs. Other middle and lower orders could not excellarate the run rate well and Sunrisers managed to put small total of 128 runs in 20 overs for Kolkata to get.

Rain started just after Hyderabad inning and delayed match till mid night and match cut to 6 overs play for Kolkata. Kolkata needs 48 runs to win in 6 overs. Kolkata open inning with RV Uhappa and CA Lynn today. Lynn gone on 3rd ball and next YK Pathan gone on 4th ball of inning and KKR were in trouble. RV Uthappa also got out in 1st ball of 2nd over and Sunrisers were on front foot. Skipper G Gambhir and IR Jaggi took the charge in hand and played sensible innings for Kolkata. Both played well and made chase of 48 runs in 5.1 overs and won the match by 7 wickets (D/L).
