VIVO IPL season 10 start with 1st encounter between defending champion Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad today. Sunrisers Hyderabad with excellent Batting performances by Yuvraj Singh and MC Henriques fifties and superb bowling won the match by huge margins of 35 runs. Yuvraj Singh declared man of the match for his 62 runs of just 27 balls.

Bangalore won the toss and chose to field first and let home team to set target. Hyderabad got firing start but lost skipper DA Warner early scoring 14 runs of 8 balls. MC Henriques joined with S Dhawan and took the charge in hand for Sunrisers. Both played good cricket and bated till 10 overs. S Dhawan got out scoring 40 runs of 31 balls and Yuvraj Singh joined with Henriques to kepr momentum on for Hyderabad. Both Henriques and Yuvraj Singh went after Bangalore's bowlers rudely and smashed fifties as well . Henriques made 52 runs of 37 balls and Yuvraj Singh after completing his fifty in 23 balls made quick 62 runs of just 27 balls. Sunrisers team managed to put huge totals of 207 runs in 20 overs with excellent batting performances in very first match of IPL season 10.

Royal Challengers having big challenge to cross huge total of 207 runs made perfact start with CH Gayle and MAndeep Singh initially. Both made fifty runs partnership in 5 overs. Unfortunately both got out in quick interwals scoring 32 and 24 runs. TM Head and KM Jadhav took the charge in hand and played good cricket in middle overs. Both played good innings of 30 and 31 runs respectively before lost their wickets. Other middle and lower orders could not compit with higher required run rates and lost the match by 35 runs.
