KL Rahul & CH Gayle's powerful batting put KXIP on top of the table as crushed KKR by 9 wkts (D/L) at Eden Gardens

18th match of IPL 2018 played between Kolkata Knight Riders vs Kings XI Punjab 21st April, 2018 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata at 4:00 pm IST. Putting into bat first by Punjab, Kolkata with CA Lynn's 74 and skipper KD Karthik's 43 runs put huge total of 191 runs in 20 overs. AJ Tye and BB Sran bowled well and took 2 wickets each for Punjab as well. Punjab in reply in rain disturbed match made chase in style and presented Punjab well deserve win by 9 wickets (D/L) and rules points tally of IPL2018. KL Rahul declared man of the match for his 60 of 27 balls.

KL Rahul with 46 of 23 balls and CH Gayle 49 of 27 balls were in middle at that stage for Punjab. Match started after some time and Kings XI Punjab given revised target of 29 runs in 28 balls. KXIP made those runs in 11.1 overs and won the match with 11 balls reminings. Punjab won by 9 wickets.
