Final match of IPL 2019 played between Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings on Sunday, May 10, 2019 at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Hyderabad at 7:00 pm IST. Opting to bat first, Mumbai after good quick start managed to put defending total of 149 runs in 20 overs. KA Pollard played good quick inning of 25 balls 41 runs for Mumbai. Deepak Chahar bowled well and took 3 wickets. SN Thakur and Imran Tahir took 2 wickets each. Chennai in reply fought hard with SR Watson's 80 runs but short by just 1 runs in eand and lost the match alonwith IPL title in last ball finished match. Mumbai won by 1 runs and won IPL trophy 4th time as well. Jasprit Bumrah declared man of the match for his tight bowling spell and 2 wickets.
