Match 24 : Karthik's 29 balls 58 & wonderful bowling led KKR to win over KXIP by 2 runs in last ball finished match

24th match of 13th season Indian Premier League 2020 played between Kings XI Punjab vs Kolkata Knight Riders on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi at 3:30 pm.

Opting to bat first, Kolkata with S Gill's 57 ad KD Karthik's quick 29 balls 58 runs managed to set good defending total of 165 runs for Punjab to get in 20 overs. Shami, Arshdeep and Ravi Bisnoi took 1 wicket each for Punjab. Punjab in reply got superb start with KL Rahul and Mayank. Both added 115 runs for 1st wicket. Mayank made 56 runs and KL Rahul contributed well 74 runs. But match changed in 17th over and Punjab lost wickets in regular interwals and score 162 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by just 2 runs. Prasiddh Krishna took 3 wickets and SP Narine took 2 wickets for Kolkata. KD Karthik declared man of the match.
